Programs

Inglese Dinamico provides both group and private lessons in a variety of programs. Laboratories are offered during the scholastic year for children and teenagers. The language flows from speaking to reading and writing with imaginative materials, games and varied activities which may even include, occasional cooking and science projects. Colorful, modern story books and contemporary literature are incorporated into each program so participants through reading and talking about ideas and events learn how to understand and express themselves in English. And, all laboratories include Lexia Learning on individual computers for each participant to build phonological knowledge for clear pronunciation, spelling and writing skills, making English learning easy, meaningful and fun. We emphasize clear and lively communication and active strategies that adults and children can use to independently move forward to learn and to interact in English, a language of wider communication!

The summer programs:
Inglese Dinamico designs special summer workshops as part of its English in Living Color program to provide special recreational opportunities in English for children and teenagers. Summer programs focus on art, simple sport and science activities which explore each participant's own special talents and interests.

New for 2008-2009!

"In 2008, we have launched "In Step with the World" (click here).
The expanded program for summer 2009 will be published in October.
For 2009, we are proposing a summer program in Venice, Italy to bring young rising American theatre actors and American playwrights together with teenagers to develop and produce original theatre pieces performed in English as an international cross/cultural experience. Plans to be announced, Winter 2009.
Young Ambassadors Program
Currently, Inglese Dinamico is designing cross-cultural experiences in America for those students who wish to practice and improve their English skills and students who are motivated to experience English in action. All programs emphasize learning through English with bilingual support for students less proficient in the language. The importance of English as lingua franca in each student's life will be discovered as they are immersed in how to present themselves in a foreign culture as representatives of their own culture and language. Plans to be announced in future for "An Authentic Thanksgiving at Plimoth Plantation." These programs will be in collaboration with high schools and high school teachers for students ages 15 up (8-10 days) and will encompass cultural, artistic, historic and science themes.

Adult programs:
Inglese Dinamico has special programs for adults! Private lessons or small group interaction develops skills for work in all kinds of settings, at all levels. Adults learn strategies for improving pronunciation and reading and writing skills while also learning to communicate with their English-speaking clients face-to-face, on the telephone or through email. Special attention is given to each learner's needs so that all individuals feel confident that they can be effective in their business and social interaction in English. All laboratories use authentic materials to emphasize the concept of "real English, real life, real people."

Exam preparation:
Inglese Dinamico offers expert preparation for the TOEFL examination by Nancy Rose Steinbock. This exam is recognized by more than 110 countries for entrance into foreign universities. Inglese Dinamico offers expert preparation for the Trinity examinations, recognized in the European Union for oral language competency credits. Roberta Purisiol has conducted these courses with nearly 100% success for all students, both secondary level and adults.
